Residential Air duct cleaning
We offer a full-service air duct cleaning experience
The full-service process involves several steps, including:
- Testing the furnace/air-handling system for proper operation, and then disconnecting the power before opening the unit for safety.
- Cleaning the accessible components of the furnace (no major disassembly). This includes vacuuming the interior surfaces of the furnace and indoor air conditioning coil and cleaning the furnace plenum.
- Cleaning the supply and return registers and grills by removing and air-washing the wall, ceiling, and return registers and grills.
- Cleaning the supply and return air ducts using powerful duct cleaning equipment.
We use the power and efficiency of negative and positive air pressure to remove dust, dirt, dander, and other contaminants from your home’s duct system. Our negative air machines, with high capacity, three-stage filtration systems, are attached to your furnace system with a large, 8″ vacuum hose. A high-powered air compressor, with attachments made specifically to clean ductwork, is used to air-wash each vent individually dislodging, agitating, and pushing dust, dirt and debris into the negative air stream that is then captured in the machine. Our equipment is designed to clean both metal and flexible ducting.
Preparing for the service
When our friendly technicians arrive they will need parking space as close to the house possible. They will also need access to the area around, and leading up to, the furnace and to each supply and return vent opening in the home. They will need to be able to remove the air diffusers from the vent openings, so ensuring furniture is moved off and away from the floor vents and providing space for a ladder to be placed under ceiling vents is extremely helpful.
